Please note: All hirers and guests (over 16 years old) attending a Council-managed venue must be fully vaccinated. In order to confirm your hall hire booking, you must provide us with your proof of vaccination, your COVIDSafe plan, and COVID check-in marshal declaration. How to hire a hall

  1. Take a look at the details for each town hall on this page to decide which is right for your event.
  2. Check the venue's availability or make a tentative booking request on our eServices website. Booking requests for town halls must be made at least 4 weeks before your event.
  3. Fill in a venue booking form. You can find these on our Venue booking form page.
  4. Email your completed booking form to townhalls@moreland.vic.gov.au within 14 days. If you don't email us a completed booking form within 14 days we will cancel your tentative booking request.
  5. Once we receive your completed booking form, allow 5 working days for us to process it.
  6. If your booking is successful we will send you a confirmation letter.
  7. You must pay all the fees before your event.

Coburg Town Hall

Location

90 Bell Street, Coburg, about 500m from Sydney Road.

    Prices effective from 1 July 2020 inclusive of GST.

    You must clean and leave the venue by 1am on the day after your booking. We will charge you the penalty rate for the length of time you remain at the venue past our agreed booking time. You will find the agreed booking time on the hire agreement.

    Public liability insurance
    • $29.85 public liability insurance is available for community groups or private bookings
    • We do not provide public liability insurance to commercial bookings.

    Free public car park in Urquhart Street, behind Coburg Town Hall.

    Two minute walk from Bus Route 513 and others at the stop on Bell Street (200m).

    Ten minute walk from Coburg train station on the Upfield train line (800m).

Brunswick Town Hall

Location

233 Sydney Road, Brunswick. This is a historic building that was built in 1876.
