Exhibition Friday 23 January to Sunday 15 February 2015

Opening: Thursday 22 January, 6 - 8 pm
Artist talks: Saturday 31 January, 2.30 pm

This exhibition investigates the lives, work and relationships of the mid-19th century artist group known as the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood (PRB) with a view to understanding their radicalism. Dorall and Cox examine the revolutionary aspects of the PRB’s artistic output, including attention to detail, ‘modern’ subject matter and symbolism. Cox and Dorall present a contemporary take on the Pre-Raphaelite movement using many of the group’s detailed methods in their interpretations.
