COVID-19 response for Moreland City Council Home Care Services
Moreland continues to provide Home Care services during the coronavirus pandemic, taking all the relevant safety precautions to keep our residents and staff safe. This might include providing meals or doing your shopping for you. If you or anyone you know needs support during this time please call our Aged and Community Support team on 9240 2302 to discuss eligibility.
Help at home
Council offers a number of services providing help around the home, from household cleaning jobs, help with shopping and assistance in the bathroom or getting dressed.
Council can assist with many small and basic household maintenance tasks that do not require a qualified tradesperson.
Council’s delivered meals service delivers healthy three-course meals to residents in their home. This service is for people who are finding it difficult to shop or cook for themselves.
See delivered meals for more information.
Council's respite service provides support for a person whose family or main carer need a short break.
How to request a service
To request support around the home from Council, you first need to make a referral.
The way to make a referral depends on your age and whether you are an existing client of a Moreland Aged and Disability Service.
