Update on services at Oxygen Youth Space

Due to current COVID-19 restriction in Victoria Oxygen Youth Space will be closed, including all bookings, programs and rehearsals, until further notice from 11:59pm on Friday 12 February 2021.


Drop-In sessions:

  • Monday’s, 12pm – 2 pm for 18-24 year olds.
  • Wednesday’s, 3pm – 5pm for 12-18 year olds.
  • Friday’s, 3pm – 5pm for 12-18 year olds.

Community hire:

1 group per day, Monday to Friday.

The FReeZA program:

Every second Tuesday and online every other Tuesday.

Numbers are limited to 10 indoors and social distancing will be observed.

Upon entry, patrons are required to sanitise their hands, register their attendance and wear a face mask if they cannot keep 1.5m distance between themselves and others.

Personal hygiene must be applied, as your safety is our priority.

Youth support is always available, and we can now meet you face to face (Call us on 9389 8645 or email Sarah Rocca to make an appointment)

Best Bad Jokes

Do you have one of those dad jokes that is so bad but so funny?

To help us lighten up and have a laugh, we are looking for you to send us a "Best Bad Joke." Each weeks winner will be posted on our Instagram and Facebook. Prizes will also be awarded to each hilarious winner.

Picture Perfect

Want to share your creative and artistic work?

Picture Perfect is a chance to keep each other inspired and share creative ideas.  We are asking young people of Moreland to share their creative photo's, poems, music or artwork you have made.  Each week we will share a piece of work on our Instagram with prizes awarded to the weeks posted work

Artwork must not have footage or photos of people.

Amped Up TV

Our youth led music committee/FReeZA team have transitioned their all-ages, event production work online.  The team would like to announce their new initiative "Amped Up TV".  Expect online performances, interviews and other fun videos by emerging young talent and your favourite big acts.

Icicles Studio

Icicles Studio will continue to provide online beat making and sound production tutorials.  We have studio professionals delving into all you need to know to create sick beats and recording/mixing techniques.

A fun, safe, inclusive & free space for young people aged 12 - 24

Drop - In hours:

From Monday 16 November, Drop-In sessions at Oxygen Youth Space will be operate on:

  • Mondays - 12pm to 2pm for 18-24 year olds
  • Wednesdays - 3pm to 5pm for 12-18 year olds
  • Fridays - 3pm to 5pm for 12-18 year olds

With Drop-In reopening we will monitor and supervise the safe and careful use of all equipment, to prevent any risk of contamination. Community safety continues to be our priority.

We are a 1 minute walk from the tram stop (no.37) on Gaffney Street/Sydney Road for the number 19 tram, and a 5 minute walk from the Batman train station, Upfield Line.
