Youth spaces in Moreland
- Brunswick skate and BMX park
Location: Clifton Park, adjacent to 430 Victoria Street, Brunswick
The Brunswick Skate and BMX Park features a unique tri level clover style bowl with depths of 1.2m, 2.5m and 3.3m aimed to challenge a range of skating abilities. The bowl is complemented by a small street section with ramps, fun box, euro gap, grind rails and two quarter pipes.
The elements in this skate park were requested as part of extensive consultation with the local skate community.
- CB Smith skate park
Location: CB Smith Reserve, Jukes Road, Fawkner
The entry path to the CB Smith skate park features skateable elements leading to a central area, with two volcanoes of different sizes. It also features a pole jam, which is an interesting and unusual feature that can give skaters a new challenge to conquer.
The skate park was extended in 2013 to add new elements and increase the challenges.
- Clifton Park synthetic soccer pitch
Location: 395 Albert Street, Brunswick
The Clifton Park Synthetic Soccer Pitch is a state-of-the-art synthetic soccer pitch built by Moreland City Council, in partnership with the Federal and Victorian Government. The synthetic surface is a low-maintenance, drought-resistant and durable all year round facility, able to withstand hard wear and tear.
The development of the synthetic pitch meets FIFA’s two star rating and includes the construction of fencing and training level flood lighting which delivers benefits for students, local teams and social players, to train or play day and night.
- Fawkner Leisure Centre In-Ground trampoline
Location: 79 - 83 Jukes Road, Fawkner
The Fawkner Leisure Centre has an Olympic-sized in-ground trampoline available for patron use.

- Harmony Park skate park
Location: 187-195 Gaffney Street, Coburg
This skate park is a plaza-type street course with plenty of ledges, stairs and rails. It's hugely popular kidney bowl features an 8ft deep end and 5ft shallow end. The mini ramp extension creates a great skate park for all to enjoy. Harmony Park also has free wireless internet access.
- Oxygen Youth Space
Location: 4- 8 Gaffney Street, Coburg North
Oxygen youth space is a fun, safe, inclusive and free space designed to be used by young people aged from 12 to 24. Run by Moreland Youth, this space is set up to be accessible for everyone.
The youth space also features our Icicles studio, which is a fully equipped music rehearsal space that can be booked for bands and soloists to come down, plug in and jam.

- Wilson Avenue bouldering wall
Location: Wilson Street, Brunswick
The Wilson Avenue bouldering wall is a free public climbing wall that features graded bouldering challenges. The colours of the different hand-holds on the wall show the challenges, each of which have varying degrees of difficulty. The three longest and most popular are the challenges that go right around the wall, the yellow, red and orange routes.
- Don Bosco Youth Centre
Location: 715 Sydney Road, Brunswick 3056
The Don Bosco Youth Centre provides a safe and caring place for young people to come with their friends. They have a wide range of recreational equipment at their facility, including in-ground trampolines, table tennis, air hockey, billiards, table soccer, basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball and a swimming pool.
The centre runs after school, weekend and holiday programs free of charge for local teenagers and children. Their facilities are also available for hire by schools and community youth groups.
