We run professional development sessions for educators throughout the year covering a variety of topics.

Innovative solutions workshop

What is Innovative Solutions funding? At this free information session you will learn about the Inclusion Support Program funding "Innovative Solutions".

Many services are eligible and are not aware of it. Come along to this session and join your local Inclusion Professionals, to unpack barriers to inclusion at your service and ways the Innovative Solutions fund can be used to overcome them and reflect on the resources you can tap into in your local community and draft an application.

This session will be presented by Narelle McNaughton and Sarah Hargrave, Inclusion Professionals for Moreland from the Inclusion Support Programme (ISP).

Aboriginal Culture and Identity workshop

Wednesday 17 October 2018,  7 - 9 pm
Cost:  $23 per person

This workshop will be conducted by Annette Sax from Yarn Strong Sista. It will include group work, storytelling and hands on art experience.  At this workshop we will unpack what contemporary Indigenous cultures and identities look like and focus on breaking down prejudices that exist, and the discriminations faced by Indigenous people. The PhD research of Dr Sue Atkinson-Lopez which focuses on Aboriginal Pedagogy will aslo be discussed at this workshop.
