Council is in the process of developing a Conservation and Development Plan for the Westbreen Creek open space corridor between the Northern Golf Course (Glenroy Road, Glenroy) and the confluence with the Moonee Ponds Creek in Pascoe Vale. This includes KW Joyce Reserve, Gavin Park, Austin Crescent Reserve and Payne Reserve.

A draft plan has been produced which aims to protect and enhance existing environmental and heritage values while planning park and amenity upgrades to improve public access and enjoyment of the open space. It includes a range of opportunities such as new wetlands, park and play upgrades, new paths and targeted revegetation.

Give your feedback

Council has worked with a number of key stakeholders, including Melbourne Water, the Northern Golf Course, Pascoe Vale Girls College and Friends of Moonee Ponds Creek and is now seeking feedback from local residents and the wider community.
