Our priority is the health and safety of our community and staff, and with this in mind we have made some decisions that will impact our services, events and programs over the coming weeks.

Customer Service Centre closures
Our Customer Service Centres have been temporarily closed.
We're still available to provide you with information and services:
- Call us on 9240 1111 to talk with our Customer Service team
- View our online services including bins and collections, new pet registrations, planning enquiries and more.
Urban Planning Services at Coburg Civic Centre remains open.
You can access urban planning advice via phone (03) 9240 1111 or viewing advertised plans online.
If you have sharps, needles or syringes that you would normally bring to our customer service centres to dispose - you can now take them to Merri Health located at 93 Bell Street Coburg.

We are also not accepting any returned library items via the return chutes. If you do have a library item, please hold on to it until we re-open. No overdue charges or fines will be issued during this time.
Leisure and aquatic centres closures
All of our leisure and aquatic centres are currently closed until further notice.
Outdoor recreation equipment closures
Playgrounds, skate parks, outdoor gym equipment and other areas with outdoor recreation equipment are closed until further notice.
Oxygen Youth Space closed
Oxygen Youth Space is currently closed until further notice.

School Holiday Program cancellations
Our School Holiday Program due to begin from Monday 30 March 2020 has been cancelled.
If you have a question about your booking, please call us on 9240 1111 to speak with our School Holiday Program team.
Family Day Care still currently operating
Our Family Day Care service is still operating.
The following events across Moreland have been cancelled:
Most Council-run community meetings and information sessions will also be cancelled or alternatively consultation will be conducted in a different way. Advice about specific meetings and sessions will be provided to relevant participants.
Aged and Community Support
As a proactive measure to protect community and staff health and safety in relation to COVID-19, some of our Aged and Community Support services have been cancelled, while all essential support services will continue with additional health practices and measures put in place.
Planned activity groups- Cancelled until further notice.
Seniors groups – Cancelled – all community venue bookings are cancelled until further notice.
Moreland Age-Friendly Ambassadors Program – Cancelled. Workshops scheduled from April 20 to be advised.
Home Support services, Personal Support, Respite Support, Delivered Meals and Community Transport will continue, with some adjustments to services. Clients will be contacted directly by Council to plan and discuss.

All Council-led playgroups will be closed until further notice.
Halls and venues for hire
All council-managed Halls, Senior Citizen Centres and Meeting Rooms have been temporarily closed until further notice.
The Counihan Gallery is currently closed until further notice.
Maternal and child health
There will be some adjustments to our maternal and child health programs, you’ll be notified by your maternal and child health nurse directly.

Our immunisation services will continue to run with additional health practices put into place.
Until further notice all sessions will run on their advertised day and time from Coburg Town Hall, 90 Bell St, Coburg. Carpark and entrance from Urquhart St.
To continue providing support to families, we have moved our breastfeeding support to a phone line.
You can chat to our nurses between Monday to Friday, 9am - 4pm by calling 9304 5690.
Our waste and bin collection and recycling services are still business as normal.
Hard waste collections still occuring as normal
Our annual hard waste collection service remains as normal, running until Friday 17 April.
All other services
All other services will run as normal, unless otherwise advised.
