Balance the Council budget

You have $148 million to run our city. What's most important to you?

Council values your input and wants to find out your priorities for the 2019-20 budget.

We have created an online budget simulator so you can tell us how you think Council should balance its annual budget.

How the budget simulator works

The online budget simulator includes all the services Council delivers to the community every year, each with a budget.

Test the effect of increasing or decreasing the budget of each Council service. Once you have balanced the budget, you can then submit it to us.

Use the budget simulator

The online budget simulator is open until 24 February 2019.

Use the budget simulator to tell us what's most important to you and how you think Council can best balance its budget.

Feedback we receive through the budget simulator tool will help shape the Council 2019-20 budget, which will be available for community consultation in late April 2019.

If you don't have internet access

We are holding sessions on the computers at Moreland libraries, so that community members without internet access can still have their say. A Council staff member will be available to help you use the tool. Booking are not required.
