Page Street, Coburg - Erection of barriers to permanently block or restrict motor vehicles
Council is proposing to place and maintain permanent barriers (bollards) at either end of Page Street, Coburg in order to permanently block or restrict the passage of motor vehicles to the street.
Page Street is located between Sydney Road and Russell Street, Coburg.
Additional complementary landscaping will also be undertaken to create a people friendly area for pedestrians, cyclists and the community generally whilst restricting the passage of motor vehicles.
Make a submission
Any person wishing to make a submission on the proposal must do so in writing by 5 pm on Tuesday 23 April.
A person making a submission is entitled to request in the submission that they wish to appear in person, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, in support of the submission at a meeting of Council's Hearing of Submissions Committee at the Moreland Civic Centre, 90 Bell Street Coburg on a date and time to be set.
Submissions quoting Reference No. ROW/10/2018 should be addressed to David Atkins, Moreland City Council, Locked Bag 10, Moreland, 3058 or delivered to Moreland Council Civic Centre, 90 Bell Street, Coburg.
All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.
Any person making a written submission under section 223 of the Act is advised that all submissions and personal information in the submission will be handled by Council in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.
Following the consideration of any submissions, Council may decide to place and maintain or not place and maintain permanent barriers within Page Street.
