Support over the phone
We are here to help you connect with the resources and support you need during this challenging time.
Community Connector Moreland is now available for over the phone support – call 8311 4140 or email Casi@moreland.vic.gov.au
Access support with:
- Food and material aid – such as food and other essential items including masks for vulnerable residents
- Emotional support such as regular chats
- Practical help such as running errands or helping people to video chat with friends and family.
We will work to put you in contact with support in your local area.
This includes support from a range of organisations such as multicultural organisations, neighbourhood houses, volunteer groups and more.

Available 24 hours/7 days per week
You can also call the coronavirus (COVID-19) hotline on 1800 675 398 and press 3 to speak to an Australian Red Cross Volunteer if you require urgent response.
What happens when I call?
You will either speak to an operator or expect a call back within 1 business day. We will work with you to support your needs.
