Preschool Storytime

Daytime Storytime sessions

Preschool Storytime sessions include stories, songs, rhymes and a simple craft activity.

Storytime is free and suitable for preschool children.

You do not need to make a booking for any of the Storytime sessions.

Preschool Storytime sessions are held weekly at all libraries.

Each session runs for about 45 minutes.

Brunswick Library

  • Thursdays at 10.30 am 

Campbell Turnbull Library

  • Wednesdays at 11.30 am

Coburg Library

  • Fridays at 10.30 am

Fawkner Library

  • Wednesdays at 11.30 am

Glenroy Library

  • Mondays at 10.30 am 

Family Storytimes

Bring your family along to a special Family Storytime during the school holidays. These sessions run at the regular storytime session time at each library. Older and younger siblings are welcome to attend these sessions.

Evening Storytime sessions

We also hold occasional Evening Storytime sessions. All sessions run for 1 hour.

Meet Justin. His favourite book is Fox in Socks and last week he helped build the solar system. Justin and his mum Amanda have been coming to Storytime since he was only eight weeks old.

Moreland kids are learning essential literacy and social skills through our Preschool Storytime program at our libraries. With stories, songs, rhymes and craft activities, it’s free educational entertainment for your kids and a great social and support network for parents.
