Brunswick Music Festival

Brunswick Music Festival

One of Victoria's premier music festivals and a major multicultural event.

Brunswick Music Festival is a much-loved annual music event and runs for two weeks each March.

Brunswick remains one of the most vibrant hubs of live music in Melbourne, which is reflected in its status as one of the top suburbs songwriters hail from Australia-wide.

Brunswick Music Festival supports and further promotes Brunswick’s reputation as a home to creativity and culture.

Brunswick Music Festival is proudly presented by Moreland City Council and Festivals Moreland.

2018 program

Brunswick Music Festival ran from 4 – 18 March 2018.

In 2018, Australia’s longest running inner-city music festival, celebrated 30 years of bringing the very best music talent, both local and international, to the stages of Brunswick.

The 2018 program featured a multitude of engaging curated experiences including ticketed concerts, free large-scale events, a newly launched professional development series and our new festival hub, Brunswick Mechanics Institute.

Highlights of the program included:

  • the free opening event, Sydney Road Street Party, which sees Sydney Road transformed into a heaving extravaganza of sounds, smells and sights, and
  • the free closing event, Music for the People, an afternoon of artists and atmosphere in the surrounds of Shore Reserve.

Artist and Stall Holder Applications for the 2018 Brunswick Music Festival and Sydney Road Street Party have now closed.
