Design the Oxygen Youth Space Mural
Local young artists are invited to submit a design for the MoreArt 2017 Oxygen Mural competition.
Local young artists are invited to submit a concept responding to the theme 'Thresholds' to the MoreArt Public Art Show for the Oxygen category of MoreArt2017.
Moreart, Council's Public Art Show, is an annual art-in-public-spaces event that continues to surprise and engage the community every year.
A vibrant cluster of artworks and artists appear in unusual, and unexpected public sites along the Upfield and Sydney Road rail, road and bike precinct.
Now in its seventh year, this diverse program demonstrates the ability of artists to transform urban environments into vehicles for contemplation, celebrations and imagination.
This is an excellent opportunity for a young artist to have their work displayed in a prominent location within the community.
The winning entrant will have their mural displayed on the Oxygen building facade for one year.
Applications close Friday 15 September 2017.
