Support from your Maternal and Child Health Nurse

Moreland Maternal and Child Health Service offers free support and information to parents about breastfeeding and formula feeding.

After the birth of your baby, a Maternal and Child Health Nurse will visit your home. This is an opportunity for the nurse to help you with breastfeeding.

All Maternal and Child Health Nurses have experience in providing advice and support with breast and formula feeding. Some of our nurses have also completed International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) training.

Breastfeeding clinics

These clinic offers more time to educate you and provide you with information and assistance in a small group session.

Breastfeeding drop-in clinic

Every Wednesday, 9 am - 11 am
Maternal and Child Health Centre, corner Elm Grove and Urquhart Street, Coburg

No appointment is necessary.

The nurse or lactation consultant can provide support and information with your immediate issues and then help you develop a plan of action.

Breastfeeding appointment clinic

Every Wednesday, 12.30 pm - 3.30 pm
Maternal and Child Health Centre, corner Elm Grove and Urquhart Street, Coburg
