Customer Service Centre

At a Customer Service Centre you can ask about Council services, pick up information and make any Council payment including rates, permit fees, dog and cat registration and parking fines.

We take cash, cheque, credit card and EFTPOS.

At Moreland Civic Centre, you can talk to Council staff from Planning, Building Services, Aged and Disability Services, and Children's Services.

Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5 pm. Closed public holidays.

Parking and transport

A limited amount of time-restricted off-street parking is available at Moreland Civic Centre at the rear of the building (accessed via Urquhart Street). Time-restricted parking is also available in Urquhart Street, Elm Grove and Bell Street.

Bus

The bus stop is on Bell Street. It is a 2-minute walk from Moreland Civic Centre towards Sydney Road.

It takes bus routes:

  • 513 Glenroy to Eltham
  • 525 Coburg to West Reservoir via Newlands Road
  • 526 Coburg to West Preston via Murray Road, and
  • 527 Gowrie Railway Station to Northland Shopping Centre via Murray Road.

Train

Coburg Station is on Bell Street. It is a 10-minute walk from Moreland Civic Centre crossing Sydney Road. It is on the Upfield train line.

Tram

Tram stop number 34 is at the Bell Street and Sydney Road intersection. Route 19 goes to Coburg North and the City.

Bike

The Upfield bike path is five minutes ride. Exit at Coburg Station. Bicycle parking is at the front and rear entrances.
