Pascoe Vale Community Facility

Project overview

The Pascoe Vale Community Facility will be located at Rogers Reserve, Pascoe Vale.

The facility will be the new home for the Sussex Neighbourhood House, as well as the Turner Street and Cumberland Road Maternal Child and Health Centres.  

Once completed, the facility will compliment the Pascoe Vale Aquatic Facility and Pascoe Vale Community Hall, forming a new community hub available for use by residents, community groups and local services.

The new community facility will comprise of art rooms, computer room and class rooms, meeting room, internal courtyard, a communal lounge and kitchen, consulting rooms, childcare facilities, play spaces and Maternal Child and Health services as well as ancillary spaces such as administration and amenity areas.

The new building incorporates many sustainable design features such as solar panels, solar glazing and water tanks.

Works to the surrounding site will include DDA compliant paths in Rogers Reserve and landscaped spaces suitable for recreation programs.
